India’s civil aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has suspended Air India’s approval to operate its Boeing simulator training facility following the identification of lapses during an audit.
In a news item, the Press Trust of India (PTI) quoted an unnamed source stating that the DGCA had temporarily suspended Air India’s approval to operate its Boeing simulator training facility. It also stated that the DGCA was verifying documents related to the matter, following which a decision would be taken to accord approval for the operation of the facility.
