The Jalan-Kalrock Consortium (JKC), has obtained renewal of the Airport Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for Jet Airways

Jet Airways' owners JKC said it will continue working closely with all relevant authorities, industry partners and stakeholders to revive the airline in the coming weeks.

“The renewal of the AOC revalidates the confidence of the Indian aviation regulator in the revival of Jet Airways,” an airline release said.

JKC says it remains fully dedicated to the revival of Jet Airways and is committed to implementing a comprehensive strategy to ensure its success.

The AOC renewal boosts JKC’s plan to revive the airline under its name after being grounded since April 2019. It announced plans in 2022 to restart operations in the Q3 of the same year, using six narrow-body Boeing 737s.
