Delta Electronics India Joins ThunderPlus To Augment EV Charging Infrastructure

The partnership focuses on delivering advanced, energy-efficient fast chargers equipped with Delta's locally manufactured 4kW rectifier modules.

Delta Electronics India announced a strategic collaboration with ThunderPlus, a leading provider of two-wheeler (2W) and three-wheeler (3W) electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions to augment low-voltage EV charging market in India.

Delta Electronics India will supply its state-of-the-art 4kW rectifier modules from its Krishnagiri facility in Tamil Nadu to support ThunderPlus’ EV chargers. These rectifiers, with an energy efficiency of up to 93%, are tailored to address the unique needs of 2W and 3W EVs, ensuring faster charging and improved performance.

Speaking on the collaboration, Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director, Delta Electronics India, stated, 'Our partnership with ThunderPlus underscores Delta’s commitment to accelerating India’s EV transition through innovative, clean, and energy-efficient solutions. The Krishnagiri manufacturing facility and our advanced R&D capabilities in Bengaluru are instrumental in achieving this milestone.'
