Dassault Aviation’s new Falcon 6X business jet has obtained European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification, followed by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), paving the way for entry into service for the aircraft.

The Falcon 6X, whose first units are undergoing completion, offers a non-stop range of 10,200 km and is the longest-range jet in its class.

Eric Trappier, Chairman and CEO, Dassault Aviation, said, “The Falcon 6X is the first brand new business jet to comply with the latest regulations, which will enhance the safety and security of all new aircraft.”

Dassault is the only aircraft manufacturer globally that builds fighter aircraft and business jets. The Indian Air Force operates two Dassault fighter types in Rafale F3-R and Mirage 2000 I/TI.

Over the last century, Dassault Aviation has delivered over 10,000 military and civil aircraft (including 2,700 Falcons) to more than 90 countries. With over 12,700 employees, it reported a revenue of €6.9 billion in 2022.
