Dacio is an innovative mobility startup has announced its entry in to AI-powered mobility by introducing Dash Cam AI for commercial vehicles.

The dash cam leverages advanced predictive video telematics to analyse driving behaviour, detecting issues such as mobile phone usage, driver distraction, and fatigue. It provides real-time alerts to both drivers and fleet operators, promoting safer driving standards.

Co-founder & CEO Suman Gandham emphasised Dacio's mission to harness AI for road safety, with plans to develop a comprehensive mobility suite, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) tailored for Indian conditions. The startup also offers retrofittable software for existing dash cams and aims to build a robust data infrastructure for the Indian mobility industry.

Dacio, co-founded with automotive enthusiast Abhilash Reddy, has already secured customers in logistics, education, and OEM sectors, with plans to deploy 10,000 dash cams over the next year. The startup is also preparing for a seed funding round to scale operations and expand its product offerings.
