Cummins Group in India, a global leader in power technology solutions, made a bold statement at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 with the launch of its next-generation HELM (Higher Efficiency, Lower Emissions, Multiple fuels) engine platforms.
The showcase included the high-performance L10 engine, an advanced Hydrogen Fuel Delivery System (FDS) with Type IV storage vessels, and the innovative B6.7N natural gas engine.
The HELM platforms exemplify Cummins’ forward-thinking approach, prioritising performance, sustainability, and adaptability. Built on a versatile common base, the platforms offer fuel-type flexibility, supporting advanced diesel, natural gas, or hydrogen variants. This design provides fleet operators the flexibility to meet diverse operational needs while aligning with evolving sustainability goals.

Product Highlights
Built on the 10-litre HELM platform, the L10 engine is designed to deliver faster logistics, improved productivity, and reduced emissions. It meets BSVI standards and serves as a foundation for future BSVII and Euro 7 compliant engines. The clean-sheet design underscores Cummins’ leadership in developing adaptable and future-ready solutions for the Indian market.
Hydrogen Fuel Delivery System (FDS)
Cummins introduced a 350-bar and 700-bar hydrogen FDS featuring Type IV on-vehicle storage vessels. This advanced system addresses critical challenges in hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles, paving the way for India’s hydrogen economy.
B6.7N Natural Gas Engine
Designed to match diesel performance with lower carbon emissions, the B6.7N engine enables the adoption of CNG and LNG fuels for heavy-duty vehicles. It offers a seamless transition to cleaner energy sources without compromising cost-efficiency or operational reliability.
