CNH Industrial has achieved a milestone by producing 700,000 tractors at its Greater Noida manufacturing facility. Since its inception in 1999, the Greater Noida site has steadily increased its production capacity, currently capable of manufacturing 60,000 tractors annually. The facility not only caters to the domestic market but also exports tractors, engines, Power Take Offs (PTOs), and axles to over 75 countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and North America.
The Greater Noida plant, sprawling over 60 acres, stands out as one of the most advanced tractor manufacturing sites in India, employing around 1,200 individuals. The facility is committed to sustainability, utilising energy from solar panels installed on its roof and participating in an afforestation project that follows the Miyawaki Project Methodology, which involves densely planting a variety of native woodland plants.
Narinder Mittal, Country Manager and Managing Director of CNH India & SAARC, stated 'It is a result of our team's hard work and reaffirms our customers’ trust in our products. India holds a significant position on the international stage, offering immense opportunities and scale. Our focus on technology and innovation will continue to drive our success here.'
Operating in India for over 25 years, CNH India, through its Case IH, New Holland, and CASE Construction Equipment brands, has consistently delivered world-class products from its 'Made in India' operations.
