Citroen India has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Refex Green Mobility Limited (RGML) entailing a procurement of 500 Citroen e-C3 electric vehicles (EVs). This collaboration signifies a significant leap in the relationship between Citroën and RGML, which began operations in March 2023 and quickly became an early adopter of Citroen’s EV.

Shishir Mishra, Brand Director of Citroën India, stated 'The Citroën e-C3, with its efficient battery pack, advanced e-powertrain, and comprehensive suite of connectivity features, continues to be the preferred choice for businesses transitioning to green mobility. Refex eVeelz has demonstrated strong growth in the sustainable mobility space, and we expect great impact from the company as it expands operations across India.'

Yash Jain, Director of Refex Green Mobility Limited, added 'We were highly satisfied with the performance of the initial batch of Citroën e-C3 EVs that we had taken in early 2023. The reliability, straightforward operation, and excellent service support towards the vehicles have been exceptional. Refex Group’s Green Mobility vertical, which operates as Refex eVeelz, has been on a mission to provide reliable, safe, and cleaner commute options to our consumers. Our strategic partnership with Stellantis (Citroën) will help us accelerate sustainable and eco-friendly urban mobility.'

The Citroën e-C3 has a range of 320 kilometres (ARAI-certified) and fast charging which allows it to achieve nearly full charge in under an hour. Its spacious interior and substantial cargo capacity make it ideal for various logistical needs, providing efficient and environmentally friendly transportation.
