Citroen India has commenced customer deliveries of the recently launched new C3 from its La Maison Citroën phygital showrooms. The entry-level C3 in India is priced at INR 5.75 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi, while the Feel variant starts at INR 6.62 lakh.

Featuring over 90% localisation, this made-in-India model is the first product from the C-Cubed family of vehicles and is built at the company’s manufacturing facility in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, noted Roland Bouchara, CEO & Managing Director, Stellantis India.

The company is retailing C3 from its 20 phygital sales outlets across 19 states namely, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Nagpur, Vizag, Calicut, and Coimbatore. Going forward the company aims to increase the number to 30 by the end of this calendar.

The C3 comes in two powertrain options - 1.2 NA petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox in the PURETECH 82 guise, delivering 82 PS of output and a claimed fuel eff­iciency of 19.8 kmpl. While the PURETECH 110 gets 1.2 L turbo-charged petrol powertrain mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with a power output of 110 PS and a claimed fuel effi­ciency of 19.4 kmpl.

Equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a full digital instrument cluster, powered windows, and dedicated USB charging slots for front and rear passengers among others, the C3 also features dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, speed-sensitive auto door lock and a high-speed alert system.
