ChargeZone has unveiled its first Kempower-equipped fast-charging hub in Gujarat. Located at Shreenath Food Hub along the highway connecting Ahmedabad and Mumbai, the site operated by ChargeZone and installed by WBG Charging Sol Pvt Ltd, is part of a broader plan to establish 15 additional fast-charging sites nationwide.

The charging hub features a 400kW Kempower Power Unit with two double-output and one single-output Satellite charging stations, all equipped with CCS2 connectors. Designed to cater to both passenger vehicles and electric trucks, it is one of India’s first hubs capable of serving a diverse range of EV users. This setup ensures dynamic power distribution across five connectors reducing wait times and maximising charging efficiency.

Strategically located to facilitate intercity and interstate travel, the hub highlights ChargeZone’s commitment to creating accessible and reliable charging solutions. The integration of Kempower’s cloud-based ChargEye system further enhances operational efficiency by enabling real-time management of power distribution, ensuring that more vehicles can be charged simultaneously.

Carlo Cecchi, Director of New Markets at Kempower, stated “Reliability and uptime are critical to fostering confidence in electric mobility, and this initiative marks a significant step toward facilitating EV adoption across India.”

Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO of ChargeZone, added “This partnership supports our mission to build a seamless and dependable infrastructure that empowers intercity and interstate travel.”
