The battery swapping network startup, Chargeup on Tuesday announced that with its Battery-as-a-Service model, it has expanded its network to over 120 battery swapping stations across Noida, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad.
Varun Goenka, CEO and Co-Founder, Chargeup, said, “We map the new locations for Chargeup swap stations using the real-time data of the driver movement, which ensures the drivers do not have to de-route for a swap.”
The startup recently raised $2.5 million in pre-Series A round led by Capital-A and Anicut Capital, which it intends to utilise to expand its network to new cities and build larger capacities.
