Italian multinational corporation Cattini e Figlio Spa has embraced the 'Make in India' initiative with a substantial investment in a cutting-edge manufacturing unit in Pune's Sanaswadi area. The facility, named Cattini Power Transmission, focuses on producing various machinery products like gears, shafts, and synchronisers.

Lorenzo Cattini, Chairman of Cattini Group, emphasised the venture's potential to provide economic stability to the region during the inaugural ceremony. The company targets a INR 45 crore turnover in the initial phase, aiming for INR 250 crore within three years for Phase 2. The company aspires to achieve a substantial turnover of INR 650 to INR 700 crore within five to seven years, establishing Pune as a manufacturing hub.

Massimiliano Bennici, Director-Cattini Group, underscored the strategic importance of this investment, marking its entry into the Indian market and signifying a crucial step in their growth strategy for the Asia-Pacific region. The project not only creates job opportunities but also contributes to Pune's industrial landscape.
