BYD India, a subsidiary of the New Energy Vehicles (NEV) manufacturer, has achieved a significant milestone with 500 bookings of its BYD SEAL luxury sport sedan within just 15 days of its launch. The growing demand for technologically advanced, high-performance luxury EVs is evident in this remarkable surge in bookings.
The BYD SEAL offers three competitive variants in India – Dynamic, Premium, and Performance, priced at INR 41,00,000, INR 45,55,000, and INR 53,00,000 respectively (ex-showroom).
Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business at BYD India, emphasised the growing preference among Indian customers for competitively priced and stylish sustainable mobility solutions. With offerings like the All-New e6 premium electric MPV and the electric born E-SUV BYD ATTO 3, the introduction of the BYD SEAL expands BYD's portfolio in India, offering a stylish and luxurious electric sport sedan.
Equipped with advanced technology such as Cell to Body (CTB) and intelligence Torque Adaption Control (iTAC), and based on the cutting-edge updated e-Platform 3.0, the BYD SEAL impresses with its performance and efficiency. With optional rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, advanced suspensions, and rapid acceleration, the car meets the demands of Indian consumers seeking both luxury and sustainability.
Furthermore, BYD India is offering attractive incentives for customers who book a BYD SEAL by March 31, 2024. These include a complimentary 7kW home charger, a 3kW portable charging box, a BYD SEAL VTOL (Vehicle to Load) mobile power supply unit, roadside assistance, and a complimentary inspection service. The BYD SEAL also comes with comprehensive warranty coverage for the traction battery, motor, motor controller, and vehicle itself.
