BYD India has partnered with OHM E Logistics to deliver 300 e6 electric passenger vehicles across India in the next six months. The first phase will see the delivery of 50 vehicles in Hyderabad.
Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President, Electric Passenger Vehicles, BYD India, said, “Delivering 300 All-New e6 electric passenger vehicles across India in the next six months is a testament to our commitment to reduce carbon emissions and promote electric mobility.”
Nirmal Reddy, Founder and Chairman, OHM E Logistics, said that the move complements the company’s aim to expand the grid of e-mobility across the nation, starting from Hyderabad and eventually onto a global stage.
Powered by a 71.7 kWh Blade battery, the e6 comes with a claimed range of 415 km on a single charge, while the 70kWh electric motor offers a torque of 180 Nm and a top speed of 130km/h.
