KAW Veloce Motors Pvt Ltd India has announced a strategic partnership with Brixton Motorcycles Austria, a brand under the Austrian family business KSR Group GmbH to produce and sell a range of stylish and affordable motorcycles for the Indian motorcycle market. Brixton Motorcycles Austria has a selection of retro-inspired designs blended with urban practicality. The partnership will be introducing four models to the Indian market by the upcoming festive season.
As other media outlets stated earlier that the British brand, owned by Austrian KSR Group, manufactured by Chongquing Gaokin Industry China (which used to manufacture diesel cylinder blocks for Cummins) will be working very closely with KAW Veloce Motors Pvt Ltd and manufacturing out of their Kohlapur facilty.
These motorcycles are designed to appeal to a broad range of riders, offering stylish designs, affordability, and excellent riding pleasure.
The collaboration between these two companies has been in development for nearly two years. They aim to provide enhanced after-sales service through a vast dealer network across major Indian cities, ensuring a seamless ownership experience for their customers.
To support this ambitious plan, KAW Veloce Motors is setting up a manufacturing facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, with an annual production capacity of over 40,000 units. This facility will initially produce the existing Brixton motorcycle range, with engine capacities ranging from 500cc to 1200cc. In the second phase, the companies will jointly develop products specifically tailored for the Indian market at Brixton’s Austria Design Centre, further expanding their manufacturing capabilities.
Under the MotoHaus initiative, the aim is to bring a new era of motorcycling to key cities including Pune/PCMC, Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Cochin, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vapi, and Panjim.
