Leading automotive design and technology-led manufacturing solutions company based in Britain, ADP Special Products, has on Monday announced a new company name and brand identity - TECNIQ.
Based in Essex, UK, the company is a key supplier to some of the world's most famous vehicle manufacturers.
As per the company statement, the business was established by leading automotive design engineer Nigel Lempriere in 1999. Together with manufacturing specialist and co-owner Tony Smith, the firm has grown to provide design, engineering, and manufacturing solutions.
Over the past two decades as ADP Special Products, the company has partnered with various automotive OEMs and low volume manufacturers and drove conceptual projects using the latest technologies and processes. As a result, each process and project is completed, focusing on design-led, high-end precision in parallel to championing true artisan craftsmanship and skilled labour.
Besides, the group specialises in the restoration, maintenance, and competition support for prestige classic and historic vehicles through its Classic Racing division.
Chief Executive Officer and founder Nigel Lempriere and Chief Operating Officer Tony Smith continue to lead the business, supported by the appointment of two senior industry figures to the board. Former Deloitte vice-chairman Mike Dobby assumes the role of Chairman, while industry-leading marketing practitioner and former McLaren director John Allert joins as a non-executive director.
Nigel Lempriere, CEO and Funder, TECNIQ, said, 'The launch of the TECNIQ brand marks a significant milestone in the timeline for the business as we look to take the next big step. We have worked to support our clients below the radar for many years, while our skillset and capabilities have continued to grow and strengthen, enabling us to offer a comprehensive and extensive service to the automotive industry. Our full 'cradle-to-grave' programme means we can design, engineer and manufacture everything in-house, and mitigate against production and logistical delays, as well as ensure efficiencies throughout the process. Now, as TECNIQ, we are shifting up a gear as we work more closely with major OEMs and low volume manufacturers.'
