Smart mobility solutions provider, Bounce, has inked a new partnership with realty start-up unicorn NoBroker.com that will give the company access to over one lakh locations across India.

Last week, the company had announced a series of partnerships with brands such as Park+, Readyassist, Kitchens@, HelloWorld and Goodbox to set up over 4,400 battery swapping stations across India.

The latest partnership with the realty start-up means easy access across residential welfare societies, including apartments, standalone buildings and gated societies, among others. The swapping stations would work on similar principles to a fuel station and can be accessed using their app, Bounce said.

In these locations, Bounce battery swapping stations will have charged and ready-to-go batteries that customers can easily swap, with their near-empty batteries, in a minute.

Bounce intends to set-up battery swapping stations within one kilometre of wherever its customers are and also build a robust swapping infrastructure to support over a million scooters over the next 24 months.

Vivekananda Hallekere, Co-Founder & CEO, Bounce said the new partnership will offer a seamless swapping experience for consumers and enable Bounce to reach its goals faster.

“This not only helps in making the environment more sustainable but also provides a high level of convenience to our NoBrokerHood residents,” Amit Kumar Agarwal, Co-Founder & CEO, NoBroker said.

Notably, Bounce had launched Infinity E1, its electric scooter on December 2, 2021. The scooter comes with what Bounce calls a ‘Battery as a service’ option, claimed to be the first-of-its-kind in the Indian market. This, the company claims, pushes the running costs of the scooter down substantially, by as much as 40% compared to conventional scooters.
