The new age e-mobility startup, Bounce Infinity, announced its partnership with Greaves Retail to provide battery swapping stations for Greaves Electric Vehicles. The company has identified Bengaluru as the pilot city for this project.
According to a press release from the startup, the company plans to target ten cities with 300 Battery Swap stations per city in different parts of the country in the first phase.
Additionally, the battery swapping service will be for both electric 2-wheelers (Ampere) and 3-wheelers (B2B & B2C segments), it added.
The smart solution, which will largely be available at locations as diverse as residential complexes, petrol bunks, restaurants, cafes, co-living spaces, corporate offices, Kirana stores, among others, will power electric vehicles manufactured by Greaves the release stated.
Vivekananda Hallekere, Co-Founder & CEO, Bounce, said that the partnership will enable more Indians to access affordable mobility with the battery as a service.
