Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has officially opened bookings for the new Hyundai Alcazar, upgraded version of its popular 6 and 7-seater SUV. The refreshed Alcazar boasts significant design enhancements, advanced technology, and an array of safety features, making it a compelling choice for customers seeking a premium driving experience.
The Alcazar features a new front grille design, complemented by a revamped bumper, hood, and skid plate. The SUV's exterior is further distinguished by new H-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and Quad Beam LED headlamps, which together create a commanding road presence. The addition of R18 diamond-cut alloy wheels, black-painted wheel arches, and bridge-type roof rails adds a sporty character to the vehicle, while the new signature connected LED tail lamps and redesigned rear bumper enhance its modern appeal.
The interior is spacious and premium, and can be configured to accommodate six or seven passengers. The SUV is designed to cater to both adventure seekers and urban commuters, with flexible seating arrangements and ample cargo storage. The new model also comes equipped with over 70 connected car features, ensuring that drivers remain connected and entertained during their journeys.
Under the bonnet, the Alcazar offers a choice of two efficient powertrains: a 1.5 Turbo GDi petrol engine with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), and a 1.5 U2 CRDi diesel engine available with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. These options provide a balance of performance and fuel efficiency, tailored to meet the needs of diverse driving conditions.
The SUV comes equipped with 40 standard safety features, along with a total of over 70 safety enhancements, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The new Hyundai Alcazar is available in four variants—Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature—and offers nine colour options, including the new Robust Emerald Matte.
