Boeing has launched a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) dashboard at the ongoing Paris Airshow.
This data visualisation tool, which provides a look at worldwide SAF production capacity, is accessible on Boeing's new Sustainable Aerospace Together hub.
'SAF reduces CO2 emissions by up to 85% and possibly more over the fuel's life cycle, offering the greatest potential to decarbonise aviation over the next 30 years,' said Chris Raymond, Boeing’s Chief Sustainability Officer.
The SAF dashboard aggregates total SAF capacity announcements by suppliers on a global scale based on data collected by BloombergNEF. It will allow the user to drill into estimated SAF capacity by pathway, country and operational date. It can also filter anticipated supply by production pathway, location and other metrics.
