BMW India has launched a new special ‘Signature Edition’ of the X7 in the country. This new iteration of the three-row SUV is available solely in the petrol xDrive40i variant at an asking price of Rs. 1.33 crore. It will be sold in limited numbers and costs Rs. 3 lakh over the standard petrol version.
The new Signature Edition of the X7 gets two new exterior colour options, namely, Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey. Other design highlights include Swarovski Crystal DRLs with glow patterns, crystal headlamps, aluminium satinated roof rails, and 3D taillamps with new graphics.
Inside, the BMW X7 M Sport Signature continues to get a curved display housing infotainment and instrument panel, ambient lighting with 14 colours, Harman Kardon-sourced 16-speaker music system, heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, and backrest cushions finished in Alcantara.
Mechanically, the BMW X7 Signature Edition is bundled with a 3.0-litre petrol engine mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox and paddle shifters. This motor is tuned to generate 375bp and 520Nm of peak torque. In this state of tune, the X7 can sprint from zero to 100kmph in just 5.8 seconds.
