BMW Launches Three F Series Adventure Bikes Starting At INR 1,230,000

The company has taken the completely built-up units (CBU) route to bring the BMW F 900 XR Pro, BMW F 850 GS Pro and BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro to India.

BMW Motorrad has announced the launch of BMW F 900 XR Pro, BMW F 850 GS Pro and BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro in India. Launched in the adventure sports and tourer motorbikes category, the company has priced these bikes at INR 1,230,000, INR 1,250,000 and INR 1,325,000, respectively.

The new profile of adventure sports tourer BMW F 900 XR’s unique performance is combined with powerful features that further enhance riding in a distinctive and future-oriented style of a genuine XR.”

He added, “The BMW F 850 GS and BMW F 850 GS Adventure bikes are perfectly streamlined for quenching your off-road riding ambitions.” 

The company has taken the completely built-up units (CBU) route to bring the new adventure sports and touring bikes to the country. BMW noted that the bikes will be sold and serviced through BMW Motorrad’s authorised dealer network. 

BMW Motorrad is offering a standard warranty for ‘three years, unlimited kilometres, with an option to extend to fourth and fifth year with these motorbikes.

BMW F 900 XR is powered by a water-cooled 4-stroke in-line 2-cylinder 895 cc BS-VI engine. This bike, as per the company, can generate an output of 105 hp (77 kW) at 8,500 rpm and reach a maximum torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. BMW noted that the bike can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in 3.6 seconds and is capable of reaching a top speed of 200 km/hr.

BMW F 850 GS Pro and BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro are powered by a liquid-cooled 4-valve, 2-cylinder engine with 853 cubic capacity. Both bikes generate 70 kW (95 hp) at 8,250 rpm and 92 Nm at 6,250 rpm. 

All three motorbikes come equipped with BMW Motorrad Connectivity App. The company will also be offering optional retailing equipment and original BMW Motorcycle accessories that can be fitted to its new offerings. It will also be offering financial solutions.
