BMW Motorrad has introduced the all-new BMW F 900 GS and BMW F 900 GS Adventure motorcycles in India. These models will be available as Completely Built-up Units (CBU), with deliveries set to begin in October 2024.

While the ex-showroom of BMW F 900 GS is INR 13,75,000 the same of BMW F 900 GS Adventure is INR 14,75,000.

The F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure have been completely redesigned to emphasise their off-road prowess and sportiness. The F 900 GS sports new tank side panels, a refined radiator trim, and a sleeker, more dynamic rear section. A standout feature is the redesigned plastic fuel tank, allowing for a slimmer and ergonomically favourable design. The GS’s short beak under the compact headlight and GS flyline give it a distinctly sporty and off-road-ready look.

Both models come equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT display, offering information diversity, presentation quality, and user-friendliness. The LED headlights provide a broader low-beam angle for improved visibility, enhancing safety, especially during night rides. Standard Enduro footrests, a 15 mm higher handlebar, and a more ergonomic riding triangle further refine their off-road capabilities.

Both models are powered by a 2-cylinder in-line engine that now generates 77 kW (105 hp) at 8,500 rpm, with a maximum torque of 93 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The increased output and fuller torque curve provide enhanced pulling power and faster acceleration across the entire speed range. The motorcycles rely on a bridge-type frame made of deep-drawn sheet steel parts, which integrates the engine as a supporting element. This, combined with the redesigned rear section and double-sided aluminium swingarm, offers improved dynamics and riding stability.

BMW Financial Services India offers tailored and flexible financial solutions, including pre-delivery loan approvals. Every BMW Motorrad bike comes with a standard three-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, extendable to the fourth and fifth years. Roadside Assistance, available 24/7, further ensures peace of mind with prompt services in case of breakdowns and towing needs.

Vikram Pawah, President and CEO of BMW Group India, said, 'The all-new BMW F 900 GS and BMW F 900 GS Adventure herald a new era in BMW Motorrad's off-road history. These are undoubtedly your ‘Perfect enduros’ that provide purist riding fun, thanks to their sophisticated off-road, touring, and adventure capabilities. They demonstrably carry the GS-DNA. The all-new BMW F 900 GS is ready to overcome all obstacles on your journey, while the F 900 GS Adventure is the ideal companion for both short and long distances.'
