BMW India has launched the ‘2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition’ at INR 46 lakh, ex-showroom. To be produced at the company’s Chennai plant, it is powered by a two-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing an output of 176 hp and a maximum torque of 280 Nm.
Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India, said that the limited edition elevates the characteristics of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe to the next level.
The new entry level sedan gets ‘M Performance’ front grille and fog lamp inserts and ORVMs in cerium grey along with other minute cosmetic changes. The interior of the vehicle gets BMW Live Cockpit Professional which includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument display and a 10.25-inch Control Display along with heads-up display and others.
On the safety side, the model gets six airbags, attentiveness assistance, antilock braking system with brake assist, dynamic stability control including dynamic traction control, cornering brake control, electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensors.
