BMW India has launched the Z4 Roadster in M40i form starting at INR 89.30 lakh, ex-showroom, India. The company said the two-door roadster will be available as a CBU from June 2023 onwards.
The roadster gets powered by a twin-turbocharged three-litre six-cylinder in-line engine mated to 8-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission producing 340 hp and a maximum torque of 500 Nm.
In terms of design, it gets the signature kidney grille sporting a horizontal inner structure design, large air intakes, vertically aligned LED headlights along with 19-inch M alloy wheels, L-shaped LED rear lights and a soft top. Meanwhile, the cabin features ambient lighting, two-zone air conditioning and electric seat adjustment with memory functions.
The vehicle also gets ConnectedDrive features with BMW Live Cockpit Professional that comes with Operating System 7.0. In addition, the layout features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a high-resolution (1920 x 720 pixels) touchscreen information display.
In terms of safety, the car gets front and side airbags for the driver and passenger, ABS with brake assist, dynamic stability control including cornering brake control, dynamic brake control, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobiliser and crash sensor.
