BMW India achieved its highest ever annual sales of 19,263 units across its portfolio in calendar year 2022. While BMW India sold 11,268 units, MINI India retailed 713 units and BMW Motorrad delivered 7,282 motorcycles.
On a YoY basis, BMW India achieved 37% growth. The Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) range including cars like BMW X1, BMW X3, BMW X5 and BMW X7 grew at over 60%, a press release from BMW said.
Meanwhile, the MINI brand saw a jump by 11% in the same period. The locally produced Countryman reported a share of 41% in sales, while the Hatch and Convertible contributed 38% and 21% respectively.
On the two wheeler front, the Motarrad brand saw an increase of 40% YoY with G 310 R, BMW G 310 RR and BMW G 310 GS commanding a share of 90% in motorcycle sales.

The company intends to meet the high demand for our products throughout the country and to change the game in the premium automotive segment, Pawah added.
