BLive is fast-tracking sustainable mobility in Ahmedabad through its strategic collaboration with Zomato. In an expansion of their successful partnership, BLive has deployed 30 Ather EVs for Zomato deliveries in Ahmedabad, marking a pivotal move to reduce the carbon footprint in the delivery ecosystem.
The initiative aligns with BLive's mission to extend its EV fleet presence across 20 Indian cities, focusing on Tier II locations to bridge the supply gap and meet the growing demand for last-mile delivery services. Building on the momentum gained from their EV deployment in Hyderabad, initiated in July, the joint efforts with Zomato underscore a commitment to fostering green mobility solutions in the food delivery sector.
CEO and Co-founder of BLive, Samarth Kholkar, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, 'Our objective is to transform the way deliveries are made, setting a new standard in the industry by integrating EVs into Zomato's operations.' Kholkar highlighted the significance of this move in Ahmedabad, a city already displaying a strong interest in green delivery solutions.
Nikhil Patil, Head Corporate Sales at Ather Energy, emphasized their shared vision, stating, 'Our vision aligns perfectly with this initiative, and we look forward to witnessing the positive change our electric scooters will bring to the delivery landscape in the city.'
BLive offers an omni-channel experience to buyers, including an E-commerce store and premium experience stores across the country. The company aims to expand its footprint to 100 premium multi-brand stores by 2024, providing a diverse range of EV products and services, including E-Scooters, E-cycles, Delivery Ebikes, and more. BLive also facilitates EV adoption by offering charging infrastructure, post-sales services, and accessible financing options for both personal and business use.
