The Pune based technology-driven global leader in metal forming Bharat Forge Limited (BFL) announced that its Aerospace Business Division has become the first organisation to successfully achieve the Nadcap accreditation for Metallic Materials Manufacturing.

According to the company, the certification is a testimony for the continued commitment to quality that will pave the path for new and enhanced business opportunities with better control over the manufacturing process, ensuring Zero Defect compliance.

The Nadcap programme aims to assess process capability for compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, the company said.

David Schutt, President & CEO, Performance Review Institute, “Compliance is a mindset; it is more than a goal as it requires ongoing effort. While a Nadcap audit is a defined moment in time for which Auditees prepare in advance, actually creating and maintaining a culture of compliance within an organisation is a constant endeavour and often a thankless task. Consequently, and in recognition of their hard work, I am delighted to congratulate Bharat Forge for achieving Nadcap accreditation.”
