BattRE’s R&D Unit Bags Government Recognition By DSIR

The centre, which started in 2020, has already received 20 patents, which include 12 patents for its electric scooters and eight for its upcoming motorcycles.

BattRE Electric Mobility announced that its in-house R&D unit has been accorded Government recognition under the certification TU/IV-RD/4916/2023 by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, to provide safer and efficient electric vehicles.

The centre, which started in 2020, has already received 20 patents, which include 12 patents for its electric scooters and eight patents for its upcoming motorcycles. The R&D centre focuses on Designing and Sketching, Building Prototypes, Market Research, Vehicle Testing and Validation, 3D modelling and Structural Analysis. 

Nishchal Chaudhary, Founder and CEO, BattRE, said, “This certification is a significant milestone in our journey to revolutionize electric mobility in India.”
