The battery swapping network startup, BatterySmart, on Tuesday announced that it has achieved the one million paid swap mark. Furthermore, the company has expanded to ten cities, including Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Panipat.
Siddharth Sikka, Co-Founder, Battery Smart, said, “Our unique battery-as-a-service model has empowered us to scale our operations at a rapid pace, growing 20X in the last six months.”
Pulkit Khurana, Co-Founder, Battery Smart, said that these swaps strengthen the company's belief that an interoperable battery-swapping network is the most effective solution, especially for commercial two and three-wheelers.
According to the press release from the company, it currently has 4,000 registered drivers on its platform and 200 swap stations.
