BASF India Reports 14.6% Sales Growth In Q2 FY25

For the half-year ending September 30, 2024, BASF India’s sales rose by 16% year-over-year to INR 82,146.2 million from INR 70,812.5 million.

BASF India Limited announced a 14.6% increase in sales for Q2FY25 to INR 42,477.2 million compared to INR 37,066.0 million in the same quarter last year. The company reported a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of INR 1,712.0 million for the quarter, a decline from INR 2,002.7 million in Q2FY24.

For the half-year ending September 30, 2024, BASF India’s sales rose by 16% year-over-year to INR 82,146.2 million from INR 70,812.5 million. Profit Before Tax for the half-year stood at INR 4,540.7 million, a rise from INR 3,521.4 million in the corresponding period of the previous year. Profit After Tax (after exceptional items) reached INR 3,485.2 million, up from INR 2,617.8 million year-over-year.

Alexander Gerding, Managing Director of BASF India and Head of BASF Group Companies in India, highlighted the strong growth momentum across the Materials and Chemicals, Agricultural Solutions, and Industrial Solutions segments, contributing to a consolidated segment revenue growth of 16% year-to-date.
