Bajaj Auto on Monday launched the new facelift Dominar 400, with a starting price of INR 2.17 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. Launched in 2017, the bike has recently passed the one million sales mark around the world.
The new variant of the popular motorcycle comes with a liquid-cooled 373.3 cc DOHC FI engine, delivering peak power of 40 hp and 35 Nm of torque. Mechanically, it retains the 43 mm up-side-down (USD) forks and the twin-barrel exhaust.
The sports tourer now gets a lot of new touring accessories, including a tall visor, hand guard, engine bash plate, leg guard, carrier + back stopper, navigation stay, USB charging port and saddle stay.
Available in two colour options, Aurora Green and Charcoal Black, the bike comes with all the accessories as standard, apart from saddle stay, which can be purchased separately from Bajaj Auto dealerships.
The touring accessories have been thoughtfully designed and smartly handpicked by the company, based on interactions with Dominar riders, said Narayan Sundararaman, Head of Marketing, Bajaj Auto. “Dominar 400 has been able to create a strong following for itself and has become the preferred choice for city riders and long-distance tourers, alike,” he said.
