Audi has introduced a highly efficient rear-wheel drive variant of its Q6 e-tron further expanding the lineup of this all-electric SUV. This new model boasts a maximum output of 240 kW and is equipped with a 100 kWh high-voltage battery, positioning it as one of the most efficient options in its class. This variant joins the previously launched Audi Q6 e-tron quattro, which offers a system output of 285 kW, and the sporty SQ6 e-tron with a system output of 380 kW.
The Audi Q6 e-tron performance offers an impressive range of up to 641 kilometres according to the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP). This makes it one of the longest-range electric vehicles in the segment. Additionally, the vehicle supports ultra-fast charging, capable of adding 260 kilometres of range in just 10 minutes at a suitable high-power charging (HPC) station. This quick charging capability ensures minimal downtime for long-distance users.
This new variant features a rear-wheel drive configuration, powered by a compact and powerful permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM). The motor delivers a system output of 240 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds. The Audi Q6 e-tron performance is built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which showcases its versatility with this purely rear-wheel drive model. The scalable PPE platform underpins the new generation of Audi's electric vehicles, emphasising flexibility and efficiency.
