Audi India announces a stellar performance in 2023 with a remarkable 89% growth, retailing 7,931 units from January to December. The positive growth is fuelled by the introduction of three new products: Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q8 e-tron, and Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron. The continued demand for best-selling models like Audi A4, Audi A6, and Audi Q5, along with the popularity of top-of-the-line cars such as Audi Q7, Audi Q8, and Audi RS Q8, contributes to the brand's strong market presence.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, expresses his satisfaction, stating, 'We remain steadfast to an upward trajectory, instituting industry-first initiatives, and delivering unparalleled luxury experiences.' The brand's expanding retail footprint concludes the year with a total of 64 touch points, including showrooms and workshops, and 25 Audi Approved: plus showrooms nationwide.
Audi India's performance in 2023 is characterised by customer loyalty, with one in every four customers being a repeat Audi buyer. Dhillon emphasises the focus on industry-best offerings and bringing top-notch products to India.
The pre-owned car business, Audi Approved: plus, witnessed a significant growth of 62% in 2023. Currently operating with 25 facilities across major hubs, the brand plans to expand and add more pre-owned car facilities in the coming year.
In terms of sustainability and convenience, Audi India introduced the 'ChargeMyAudi' feature on the myAudiConnect app, an industry-first initiative that provides Audi e-tron customers access to charging points of multiple electric vehicle charging partners on one app. The initiative, powered by Numocity Technologies' eMSP roaming platform, offers complimentary charging across the network for Audi e-tron owners till March 2024, with over 1,000 charge points currently available.
As part of Audi's commitment to sustainability, the brand inaugurated India's first ultra-fast charging station in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. Developed in collaboration with ChargeZone, the station boasts a total capacity of 450kW and can deliver 360kW of power to an electric vehicle, charging the Audi Q8 55 e-tron from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes.
Adding to customer-centric initiatives, Audi India introduced the Audi Club Rewards program, offering exclusive access, segment-first privileges, and bespoke experiences for existing and future customers. With 64,000+ active members, this rewards program enhances the overall ownership experience.
