ATUM Inauguration

In what is claimed to be India's first 100% self-sustaining solar-powered electric vehicle charging  station, ATUM Charge has opened its newest charging station in Malad (E/W) in Mumbai. While the  station has been opened, the company intends to follow it up with a larger inauguration in some time.

ATUM has installed over 250 EV chargers throughout India, but the ATUM Solar Roof in Malad, with  a capacity of 5.2 kW, is the world's first electricity-generating solar roof, which is patented in India,  the United States, and South Africa, claims the company.

ATUM has installed 16 modules of 325 WP (watt peak), generating 24 Kwh per day and 8,760 Kwh  per year.

Vamsi Gaddam, Joint Managing Director, ATUM Charge said, “We need to be environmentally  conscious now more than ever, and opening our new charging station in Mumbai, where people are  already very aware and motivated about climate issues, is an excellent first step toward our ultimate  goal of a greener, healthier India.”
