Ather Energy has announced the launch of Ather Electric December, a month-long programme offering benefits, financing options, and exchange schemes to its customers.
Under the programme, the Hero MotoCorp-backed start-up will provide an extended battery warranty worth INR 6,999 at INR1. The offer will enable a warranty of up to five years on the Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus electric scooters.
The start-up also provides free access to Ather Grid until December 31, 2023. On the retail financing front, the company has recently introduced a first-ever financing scheme in partnership with IDFC Bank, offering a 48-month tenure to enable consumers to own an Ather scooter.
It had recently launched its second manufacturing facility in Hosur. Ravneet S Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, noted that this has been a phenomenal year for the start-up.
He said, “We have taken strong steps towards going mainstream with our rapid retail expansion and we expect the trend to continue in 2023. To top off this great year, we are introducing several incentives making this month the best time to buy an Ather scooter.”
The start-up claims to have sold 7,234 units in November, registering a 260% year-on-year growth.
