Ather Energy has raised the price of the 450 Apex limited edition scooter by Rs, 6000. The scooter was launched in January 2024 at Rs 1.89 lakh, ex-showroom, Bengaluru. Close to six months down the line it’ll now set you back by Rs 1.95 lakh.
The Ather 450 Apex continues to be the most expensive electric scooter in the company’s portfolio. It is also their most powerful scooter yet. It has a 7kW electric motor and a 3.7kWh battery. The company claims that the scooter accelerates from 0-100kmph in 2.9 seconds and hits a top speed of 100kmph, which is 10kmph more than the 450X.
Visually, the Ather 450 Apex has the same design as the rest of the 450 series scooters. Except for the bright blue colour with the orange wheels and transparent side panels that gives one an unrestricted view of the scooter’s subframe.
Ather has equipped the 450 Apex with six ride modes – Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, Sport, Warp, and Warp Plus. As for the hardware, the scooter has a telescopic fork and a monoshock, while braking duties are taken care of by a 200mm front disc and a 190mm rear disc.
At Rs 1.95 lakh, the Ather 450 Apex is a rather expensive scooter. It goes up against the Ola S1 Pro which is significantly cheaper than the Ather 450 Apex at Rs 1.30 lakh, ex-showroom, Bangalore.
