ASK Automotive Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Japan-based Kyushu Yanagawa Seiki Co Ltd (KYSK). The collaboration involves a Technical Assistance and Licence Agreement to manufacture high-pressure die-cast alloy wheels for two-wheelers.

The agreement aims to supply high-quality alloy wheels to an identified Japanese customer, ensuring adherence to global standards for performance and safety. ASK Automotive plans to leverage its extensive experience in the Indian automotive industry to design, develop, and manufacture these products, which have become a critical component across all two-wheeler segments, from entry-level to premium models.

Kuldip Singh Rathee, Chairman and Managing Director, ASK Automotive Limited, highlighted the increasing importance of alloy wheels in the two-wheeler segment and emphasised that ASK Automotive’s expertise in aluminium lightweighting precision solutions will support the development of high-pressure die-cast alloy wheels. He further noted that the partnership with KYSK will ensure the highest manufacturing standards through advanced technical assistance and innovation.
