Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland today showcased its CNG vehicle, E-Comet STAR in the 14T and 16T GVW segment.
Comes fitted with H Series 4 cylinder BS-VI engine with a maximum torque of 450 Nm @ 1250-2000 rpm, the STAR can provide higher fluid efficiency, better tyre life, longer service intervals and overall lower maintenance cost with enhanced Turnaround Time (TAT), thereby, resulting in best-in-class Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the fleet owners.
Sanjay Saraswat, Head - M&HCV, Ashok Leyland, said, “Today, we have introduced our first of many CNG trucks – the E-Comet STAR – which is based on the highly successful E-Comet platform. This will lead our product offensive in the fast-growing CNG segment. Staying true to our brand promise of ‘Aapki Jeet.
