Ashok Leyland 1992 4X2 CNG

Ashok Leyland has launched the 1922 4X2 truck in the CNG segment. It comes with a range of cylinder options in the 6.1 m (20ft) to 9.75 m (32ft) loading span options.

Powered by the proven 220 hp H6 CNG engine, which is ideal for long haulage applications, the truck can travel over 1150 km on a single tank.

Sanjeev Kumar, President-MHCV, Ashok Leyland, said the industry is seeing an increase in demand for CNG variants in applications like e-commerce, parcel loads, auto-parts and fast moving consumer goods. “The new range will further strengthen our portfolio and improve our market share in the fast-growing CNG space. It will also help us achieve our vision of being among the top 10 commercial behicle manufacturers globally,” he added.
