Ashok Leyland (ALL), the country’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, today launched the AVTR 4825 10x4 48 tonne tipper that features the patented dual tyre lift axle and heavy duty bogie suspension. This new truck has been launched with 29 cubic metre load body.

The truck is built on ALL’s innovative modular platform, AVTR that allows customers to customise their truck based on load, terrain, application and other operational requirements. Customisation options are offered for engine and driveline aggregates, load body, cabin and other features to suit industries such as mining, infrastructure, and construction.

Anuj Kathuria, COO, Ashok Leyland said with this launch, the company continues to maintain the lead in terms of technology and innovation for its customers. “The all-new Bogie suspension adds an integral layer of strength and reliability, which is crucial to the tough operating environment of tippers,” he said.

It has a 9-speed gearbox with crawler gear and optimised gear ratios that is designed specifically to suit all construction and mining applications. It also comes with an anti-toppling sensor for higher safety, while tipping, said the company. Further, it comes bundled with digital solutions like i-Alert advanced telematics and remote diagnostics.
