Aprilia India is gearing up to launch the 2024 range of its big bikes on 16 April in Mumbai. The Italian manufacturer will launch the RS660 supersport, the Tuono 660 street bike and the Tuareg adventure motorcycle. These bikes will join the company’s flagship superbike, the RSV4 Factory in the company’s Indian portfolio.
The prices of these Aprilia motorcycles are expected to be on the premium end of the scale, especially the Tuareg. While it is a 600-700cc range motorcycle, the pricing is expected to be close to what the 1000cc ADV bikes are priced at. Word is that the Aprilia Tuareg will be priced around the 18.85 to 19.65 lakh, ex-showroom range.
This will position it far away from rivals like the recently launched Suzuki V-Strom 800DE (Rs 10.30 lakh) or the Honda XL750 Transalp (Rs 11 lakh).
On the other hand, expect the RS660 and Tuono 660 to also sport premium price tags. That said, Aprilia motorcycles are known for their design, engine performance and intuitive handling. There will be a small but knowledgeable set of buyers who will go for such motorcycles, irrespective of the pricing.
