Ampere has been busy readying its all-new electric scooter, codenamed NXG and test mules have been spotted on multiple occasions. In the run up to the launch, Ampere has trademarked the names Nexus and Aspirus.
The Nexus is possibly the name of the NXG electric scooter. This is a completely new EV, built for the family-oriented buyer. The styling, hence, is expected to be conservative. A look at the test scooters revealed that there seems to be ample space for two adults with a decent amount of room on the floorboard.
Expect Ampere to equip the scooter with a lot of features such as LED lights, full-digital display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.
Ampere is also testing another scooter, codenamed the NXU and that is likely to be called the Aspirus in its production avatar. This scooter is being developed for the B2B market for delivery purposes.
Expect the Ampere Nexus to go on sale soon and sit above the Rs 1.5 lakh, ex-showroom mark.
