Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) has launched the Ampere Magnus Neo, an upgraded version of its Magnus EX electric scooter. Priced at INR 79,999 (ex-showroom), the Magnus Neo aims to deliver better performance, enhanced safety, and improved comfort.
The Magnus Neo is an evolution of Ampere’s Magnus series and incorporates premium features to meet the changing needs of modern riders. With a top speed of 65 kmph and improved torque, the scooter is designed for urban commuting. Its 12-inch alloy wheels enhance stability and durability. It features an advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, a standout addition in its category. The battery comes with a five-year or 75,000 km warranty.
It boasts a certified range of over 100 km, three riding modes, reverse mode for easy manoeuvring, a portable battery for convenient charging, and a USB port for device charging. Riders can also opt for smart connectivity features. Charging is efficient, taking between five and six hours.
As part of an introductory offer, the Magnus Neo comes with affordable financing options starting at 5.75% interest per annum, making electric mobility accessible to a wider audience. It will be available across Ampere dealerships nationwide starting January 2025.
