Airbus has inked a 10-year contract for its Skywise Health Monitoring (SHM) digital solution with Air Asia India.

The Low Cost Carrier (LCC) is the South Asia launch customer for SHM, which will support its maintenance and engineering teams by enabling real-time management of aircraft events and troubleshooting. Air Asia has also signed up for Airbus’ Skywise Core aviation data integration platform as part of the ten-year contract.

Rémi Maillard, President and Managing Director, Airbus India and South Asia, said the selection of Skywise integrated suite of digital solutions by Air Asia would unlock maximum efficiency and value for the airline.

Sunil Bhaskaran, MD & CEO, AirAsia India, said that through this partnership, AirAsia India will integrate Skywise Digital Services to build an agile, streamlined, and sustainable ecosystem powered by next-gen technologies.
