KTM India has launched a set of new colours for the 200 Duke and the 250 Duke. Both street naked motocycles look striking in their bright colours which will make them stand out among a sea of bikes on our roads.
The KTM 200 Duke gets two new colours Electronic Orange and Dark Galvano. These will be sold alongside the existing Dark Silver Metallic trim. The Electronic Orange colour has a bolder set of decals along with a white tail section, unlike the silver panels on the previous version.
The KTM 250 Duke, on the other hand, gets a new Atlantic Blue colour. It has a blue coloured fuel tank, front fender, headlight cowl, and tank shrouds, while the subframe is finished in grey. The wheels are painted in a contrasting orange colour and it also gets orange ‘Duke’ decals on the tank shrouds. With the addition of this new paint scheme, the KTM 250 Duke is now available in three colours – Ceramic White, Electric Orange, and Atlantic Blue.
Mechanically, the bikes remain unchanged. The KTM 200 Duke is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 24.67bhp and 19.3Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The 200 Duke is priced at Rs. 1.97 lakh (ex-showroom) and it competes against the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Yamaha MT-15.
The KTM 250 Duke has a 249.07cc, liquid-cooled motor that features a single overhead camshaft. The engine produces 30.5bhp at 9,250rpm and a peak torque of 25Nm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. The 250 Duke is priced at Rs. 2.39 Lakh (ex-showroom).
