The 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 2V has been launched in India at Rs 1.11 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The new price makes the bike Rs 10,000 cheaper than the outgoing motorcycle.

While the price has been reduced, Hero has added more features to the motorcycle. The Xtreme 160R 2V gets an H-shaped tail light, a flatter pillion seat and a first-in-segment drag race timer.

The bike is available in one colour only, called Stealth Black. As the name suggests the entire motorcycle is covered in black paint with red accents in certain places to add contrast to the appearance of the bike.

Powering the bike is a 163.2cc engine that makes 14.79bhp and 14Nm. It is linked to a five-speed gearbox.

In terms of the chassis, the Xtreme 160R 2V has a tubular steel frame that is suspended by a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels while braking duties are taken care of by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.

The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V rivals the Honda SP160, TVS Apache RTR 160, and the Bajaj Pulsar N160.
