Mahindra & Mahindra has entered the competitive midsize SUV segment with the unveiling of the All-New Thar ROXX, poised to challenge established rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder.
The starting price for the base variant - MX1 Petrol variant is INR 12.99 Lakh, while the Diesel variant starts at INR 13.99 Lakh.
Built on a completely new platform, the vehicle promises a refined driving experience, combining superior ride quality, precise handling, and improved NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) standards. While it excels in on-road performance, it also stays true to the Thar's legendary off-road capabilities. Safety is a top priority with over 35 standard safety features integrated into the vehicle.
Among its advanced features, the Thar ROXX includes twin HD screens—a touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The SUV also offers a Harman Kardon audio system for an immersive sound experience, a panoramic Skyroof, and a luxurious interior with soft-touch leatherette dashboard and door trims.
Mahindra positions the Thar ROXX as the ideal choice for those with a rockstar personality and a no-compromise attitude, designed to cater to individuals who demand the best in every aspect of life. The vehicle is marketed as ‘THE’ SUV, embodying the ultimate blend of style and substance.
The official launch is set for tomorrow, coinciding with India’s Independence Day celebrations, where more details about the SUV will be revealed.
