The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, held across multiple venues in Delhi NCR, has established itself as a cornerstone event for the automotive and mobility industry. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and cutting-edge technology, the expo showcases a diverse range of products, brands, and futuristic concepts.

The Motor Show

The Motor Show, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, was a dynamic display of vehicles, technologies and new launches. Over 34 product unveilings highlighted the rapid transformation of the automotive landscape, with a particular emphasis on electric mobility and alternative fuels. Here’s a closer look at some of the standout participants and their innovations:

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki stole the spotlight with the launch of its first all-electric SUV, the e-VITARA. Packed with features such as Level 2 ADAS and advanced connectivity via Suzuki Connect, the e-VITARA underscores Maruti's intent to lead in the EV market.

Hero MotoCorp

Hero MotoCorp showcased a diversified portfolio, including the Xtreme 250R and Xpulse 210 for adventure enthusiasts. On the sustainability front, the ethanol-based HF Deluxe flex-fuel motorcycle and VIDA V2 e-scooter were highlights, reflecting the brand's commitment to alternative energy solutions.

Hyundai Motor India

Hyundai introduced the eagerly awaited Creta Electric at an introductory price of INR 17.99 lakh. With impressive specifications and a range that caters to Indian consumers, it demonstrated Hyundai's ability to combine practicality with innovation.

Tata Motors

Tata Motors unveiled the all-new Sierra, a modern revival of its iconic SUV. Combining timeless design elements with cutting-edge technology, the Sierra is positioned as a flagship for sustainability and style.

Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles launched Prima E.55S: Battery electric prime mover for sustainable logistics; Prima H.28: Hydrogen-powered truck with ~550km range; Prima G.55S: India’s first LNG prime mover with a range of 2,400km; Intra EV Pickup: India’s most advanced electric pickup.

Under Passenger Carrier segment, the company launched Ultra EV 9: Sustainable urban mobility solution; Magna Coach: Designed for long-distance comfort and performance.

Besides, the company also launched Advanced Aggregates such as world-class drivetrain technologies and emission-free urban freight solutions like the Ultra E.12. In addition, it also launched Smart Solutions - Real-time insights with ADAS-enabled truck simulators, setting new standards for safety and operational efficiency.

MG Motors

MG Motors expanded its BEV portfolio with the MG Cyberster and MG M9, showcasing a futuristic blend of luxury and sustainability. Introduced under the MG Select brand, these models cater to a premium clientele.

Porsche India

Porsche showcased the all-new Macan BEV and updated Taycan, highlighting performance-focused sustainability.

BMW India

BMW launched the X1 Long Wheelbase All-Electric, its first locally produced EV.

Mercedes-Benz India

Mercedes unveiled the ultra-luxurious EQS Maybach SUV 680 Night Edition and the CLA Concept.

Kia India

Kia introduced the updated EV6 equipped with ADAS 2.0, which is a significant update of the current model. Bookings have now been opened, and the prices will be out in March 2025.

Other mentions include VE Commercial Vehicles unveiling the Eicher Pro X Range, targeting small commercial vehicle segments. Greaves Cotton launched the Ampere Nexus e-scooter variants and the Xyber e-motorcycle with fast-charging capabilities.

Ashok Leyland 

Ashok Leyland, the flagship commercial vehicle manufacturer of the Hinduja Group, has launched its new premium entry-level Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) – ‘SAATHI’. 

Switch Mobility

SWITCH Mobility Ltd, part of the Hinduja Group, has introduced the SWITCH IeV8, a groundbreaking electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV) designed specifically for mid-mile logistics. 

Greaves

Greaves Cotton Limited showcased its vision for a sustainable and comprehensive mobility ecosystem at Auto Expo 2025 in New Delhi. The company unveiled a wide range, from electric vehicles to hydrogen-powered engine concepts, demonstrating its transformation into a multi-business, fuel-agnostic enterprise.

Volvo Trucks

Volvo Trucks India made a significant mark at Bharat Mobility 2025 by showcasing their cutting-edge FM 420 4X2 LNG tractor and the FM 4X2 tractor equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These technological advancements highlight Volvo Trucks’ ongoing commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in India’s logistics sector.

The Components Show

The Components Show, held at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, was an integral part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, highlighting the backbone of India’s automotive industry. Inaugurated by Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Jitin Prasada, the event featured over 1,000 exhibitors, 60 product launches, and five country pavilions. Spanning 70,000 square metres, it showcased India’s strengths in manufacturing, electrification, and supply chain innovation.

Electrification and Sustainability: Focus on EV components, bearings, and accessories, reflect the shift towards green mobility.

Global Participation: Exhibitors from seven countries highlights the event's international appeal, while the unveiling of the ACMA Buyers Guide and a report on transitioning to EVs highlighted the sector's readiness for global challenges.

Innovative Ecosystem: Live demonstrations, interactive forums, and curated product launches created an engaging platform for OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and start-ups.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal emphasised the role of innovation in building an indigenous EV ecosystem. He projected ambitious export targets of $100 billion for the auto components industry, a critical milestone in India's journey toward Viksit Bharat 2047.

Shradha Suri Marwah, President of ACMA, highlighted the sector’s focus on fostering global collaboration and adopting best practices. She described the event as a collective endeavour to build a sustainable and resilient mobility ecosystem.
